I have noticed that some of my LightScribe labeled discs have a whitish powder on them. What is it?

Occassionally you might notice a whitish powder on the label side of your LightScribe CDs and DVDs. THis comes as a result of a crystallisation of the label-side coating. It is not harmful and can easily be removed with a water dampened cloth. Wiping the disc with a damp cloth will not harm the label.
