Make sure the disc is finalised as this writes the table of contents to the disc, so the player can identify what is written onto it. If you don't finalise the disc, it will only play in the recorder on which the recording was made. Also, make sure there are no fingerprints or smudges on the disc as this can cause laser focusing problems.
