* Handle discs with care and try to hold media at the edges
* Always store the disc in either the protective plastic case, paper sleeve or the spindle packaging the media came in
* Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and humidity
* Avoid getting fingerprints, dust or stains on the blue side of the disc. This is particularly important prior to recording so remove any dust particles with a soft dry cloth.
* For thorough cleaning use a soft cloth moistened with a few drops of ethyl alcohol cleaning fluid. Avoid all other cleaning fluids or solvents.
